Summer house and boat in Hälleviksstrand
Description
The house has a central location in the charming old fisher village Hälleviksstrand on the island Orust in Bohuslän on the west coast of Sweden. It was renovated during 2015-2017 and is 110 square meters. The sea is just 50 meters away, but there is no direct view over the sea from the house.
The closest bathing place is 350 meters away. There is a sand beach for the small kids, a large wooden deck and smooth rocks with springboards. In other words, something for all ages and interests. In addition, there are more secluded bathing places 400-500 meters from the house where you can find your “own” smooth rock for sunbathing and swimming.
For guests with practical experience from boating and navigation, a boat can be rented at extra cost. The boat enables you to get out into the fantastic archipelago cluttered with small islands and islets. The boat is an open 4.80 meter boat (Örnvik 480) with a 25 hp outboard motor. It's suitable for max 6 persons.
Hälleviksstrand is a quiet and very family friendly small village. Just by the house, the so called ”Ängen” (the meadow) is located. This is a natural gathering spot for kids and adults. There is a football area, boule court and playground available, and the midsummer festive is celebrated here. In the house there is a football, a boule set and a crocket set available for loan. Four bikes are also available at your disposal.
Within a radius of 200 meters from the house there is a restaurant (Erwings Junkfood), a kiosk (Hälleviksstrands Grill & Glasscafé) and a very cozy café (Mias Sjöbod) located just by the waterfront among the charming old boathouses. There is also a tiny store (open 8-12) where you can buy fresh bread in the morning and basic groceries. The closest food store is located in Ellös, 7 km from the house.
The surroundings are very beautiful and invites to swimming, walking, hiking, biking (ordinary + mountainbiking) and excursions. In the house there are maps available with different routes outlined.
In the proximity (within 10 km) there is a very beautiful seaside 18-hole golf course, a kayak rental and great kayaking waters, and ferries to the beautiful islands of Käringön and Gullholmen/Hermanö.
The house has a large living room with a brand new stove and a large new sofa, a 48-inch HD TV with a connected Apple-TV and soundbar system. The kitchen is spacious and has a dishwasher, micro, fridge freezer and 4-hob cooker with owen.
On the upper floor, there are two large bedrooms, one with a 180 cm double bed and one with two 90 cm detached beds. There is also a brand new modern bathroom with floor heating.
On the ground floor there is a third bedroom with one 180 cm double bed and one 90 cm single bed. There is also a WC (without shower).
A washing machine and a tumble dryer are available in the basement.
Around the house there are two large wooden decks, one with morning sun and the other deck with sun during the day and evening. There is a brand new gas grill (Weber Q2200) at your disposal.
Just in front of the house, there is a parking lot for one car. Additional parking is available 200 m from the house.
